UOMZ pegged at the German market of medical equipment

Neonatal equipment, presented at the joint stand of UOMZ and its Swiss representative office Trialptek Company, attracted a lively interest of specialists. Especially, the attention was called to a new product of the Ural enterprise – infant neonatal heater ODN-01. According to Anatoly Sludnykh, Deputy Director of Civil Products Export Sales of FSUE “PA “UOMZ”, a number of companies are willing to render assistance in the promotion of a new article to the German market.  At present, first prototypes of the heater are being prepared for the supply in Germany; the device is specially adapted to the German market as to technical certificates and software.

A. Sludnykh also told that in 2009 UOMZ is planning to organize a close cooperation with neonatal departments of German hospitals. “It is a really serious challenge for our company. Germany is the biggest European market with the highest competition level. Traditionally, German companies are reckoned among the most respectable manufacturers of medical equipment”, - said representative of the plant

At present, UOMZ is taking part in a tender, organized by Saarbrucken hospital where the incubator IDN-03 and phototherapy lamp OFN-02 were supplied for operational test. The first technical stage of tests in medical establishment was passed. Currently, the medical tests proper are starting directly in the intensive care wards. Their results will be learned approximately by the middle of June.
