BiliFlex

BiliFlex Fibrooptic system for phototherapy in newborns

Function

The product provides effective and rapid reduction in the level of bilirubin in newborns with jaundice due to the use of high-intensity, constant and uniform therapeutic light of a narrow therapeutic spectrum of 450-480 nm, which falls directly on the baby's skin.

Potentially harmful ultraviolet and infrared radiation is absent, thus reducing the risk of damage to the skin and eyes (including the treating personnel), as well as the danger of hyperthermia and dehydration.

Advantages

  • Compact and lightweight
  • Flexible fibreboard mattress with removable disposable covers
  • The radiation efficiency is 30 mW / cm / nm even through a diaper
  • Removable light guide for easy storage, cleaning and disinfection
  • Mounting bracket for incubator rack, tool shelf
  • Opportunity for home use
  • It does not blind the newborn and the medical personnel
  • The radiation area 300x200 mm covers 90% of the body of the newborn
  • The lifetime of the radiation source - 5 years without replacement
